Group Classes

Who is this for?

Whether your goal is to get in better shape, pick up a new hobby, or compete as a boxer, this training is for you. No previous boxing experience is necessary – all skill levels are welcome.

What should I expect?

Minneapolis Boxing Club group training classes are true to the spirit of boxing: intense, instructive, and fun. Each 60-minute session is structured to cover fundamentals that are necessary to excel in the ring:

  • Warm-up

  • Boxing technique & strategy

  • Strength & conditioning

Classes range in size, but never exceed 15. Most are smaller.

How much does a group class cost?

MBC offers class packages as well as monthly membership that includes unlimited classes. See Pricing for more info.

What else do I need to know?

When you arrive for class make sure to give yourself enough time to get into the building, wrap your hands (if you don’t know how, don’t worry, we’ve got you!) and be ready to go - in other words, be early! If you need to cancel, read this.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancellations to your class sign-ups can be made via email or phone. Class cancellations that occur more than 8 hours prior to the start of your class will not be charged. No-shows and class cancellations that occur less than 8 hours prior to the start of your class will be charged as follows: unlimited memberships will be charged $10 and clients with class packages will lose one class. We are human and understand that life can change in an instant so just call if you have anything serious come up last minute!

Private Training

Who is this for?

Athletes who are looking to get more individual instruction and want to take their training to the next level.

What should I expect?

During these sessions you will work with a trainer 1-on-1 on a workout specifically tailored to your individual goals and needs. Looking to build strength and improve your conditioning? We got you. Want to polish your technique with some dedicated  time with Joe? Done. These sessions become time for you to work on you with coaching and specific direction from a highly-trained coach.

How much does private training cost?

Private training is available in 30, 45, and 60-minute sessions and pricing starts at $50 for 30 minutes.

Cancellation policy: Private training cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. Cancellations that occur less than 24 hours prior to the start of the session will be charged at the full rate.

Open Gym - DIY

Who is this for?

Athletes who are “do-it-yourself-ers”. Minneapolis Boxing Club members get access to use the facility to workout the way they want. No instruction from a coach is included.

What should I expect?

DIY members have access to the gym during all open hours (classes get first dibs on equipment) and can use any equipment they like to create a workout of their own.

What equipment do you have?

Minneapolis Boxing Club has all the tools necessary to create a well-rounded training experience. At the gym you’ll find a wide range of punching bags and exercise equipment - enough to provide for any workout, boxing or otherwise.
